Vikas Patil belongs to pachora taluka, which is in Jalgaon district. His father is a bank manager and farmer. He is married to Avina Patil having one son and daughter named Darshan Patil and Delia Patil. He has completed his graduation from North Maharshtra University [2]

Vikas Patil started his career as a member, spokeperson, and taluka president of Nationalist Congress Party as one of their highly educated and popular politicians in the city of pachora.
He is elected in huge lead of votes in the history of municipality elections and is elected as a corporator of ward 13 to the Pachora Muncipal Council and has recent appointed as chairman of water supply. [3]

Today all the global world is facing the corona pandemic, In maharashtra there are many poor peoples which depend on their temporary work as taking all this situation in consideration vikas santosh patil has distributed over 7,000 masks in the city of pachora. He has distributed cereals to the poor people, kits of things needed in day to day life, also he is giving continuous information about the prevention of coronavirus, how to fight and to prevent it.
